Automatic transcription

Turn the recording’s speech into an editable transcript and synced captions. Audio is processed on this device. Internet is needed to download the speech model on first use.

Upload your interview, then select Transcribe video. First use can take several minutes; keep this tab open.

For mixed English and Nigerian Pidgin. Accuracy varies; review names and local expressions. This version supports recordings up to 30 minutes; longer recordings can use imported SRT/VTT. Speaker labels can be entered manually.

Colour treatment applies to both views. Captions stay crisp and retain their own colours.

Crossfades blend the outgoing and incoming camera views at each recorded cut. Short shots limit the fade length. Audio stays continuous.

FROM WIDE SHOT TO FINISHED EDIT

  1. Upload one wide recording

    Use a video with all interview participants visible and the audio you want to keep.

  2. Frame each person

    Select a person, drag their crop and adjust its width and height. Add more people when needed.

  3. Direct as you watch

    Press play, then click Wide or a person. With “Record camera cuts” on, each switch is saved at that moment. Replay from the start to review.

  4. Export your video

    Choose your layout and format. Export processes frames directly from your recording and includes its continuous original audio. Keep this tab visible until the MP4 download is ready.

Close-ups crop the original footage; a high resolution wide recording gives clearer results. Project files save edit settings. Reattach the original video when reopening.
